Humans as Integral part of Nature
Democracy is an interesting concept. We, people of the United States, believe so much in it yet understand so little of what it means. Democracy is a unison. A single body of parts working together. Bees are alway found with flowers and are no where else found. In as such, flowers are in need of bees to function. They work as a single unit. Now, I can see this conversation going as a liberal view of society. Therefore, I want to see a response of what others have to say?
Pilot Idea
I want to first start off with the fact that Taoism is not a religion. In fact, the literal translation of Tao is that the Tao that is spoken is not Taoism. In other words, you must go beyond the system of language to fully understand what Taoism is about. Now, I understand that Atheist go against the current of religion and possible the idea of spirituality. However, I tend to find that Atheist find themselves in this want of fill. This want of understanding beyond want science brings to them. I'm not saying that science cannot offer or lacks a certain understand. No, true Atheism is something I admire. It brings a certain ideology of, "it is not measurable or is not predictable; therefore, I am skeptical." Which, I believe is something that I think people must have. Still, I feel this writes off what Taoism truly is: a sense of balance within uncertainty. A need of moral guidance within facts. Rape is something that most would agree is wrong. Force upon someone who wishes not to partake. Obviously, atheist will agree that rape is not something they agree with. Yet, why? Well, morality at its basic sense. We are humans, beyond our ego. We have self-awareness, and with self- awareness, I would say that humans possess the capability of understanding to the extent to what is dreadfully obvious as far as morals go. If someone steals for food, this is not obvious to what is morally correct or not because one does not fully know the motives of the person. Is the person glutinous and only wants more? Or, is the person, simply, trying to scavenge for food to provide for one's family? And, if one is trying to scavenge food for one's family, is this the only means neccisary for the livelihood for one's family? In which case, could you really blame the person? Because, the person is doing a selfless act. Yes, they are going against a moral code but for what? The well-being of others. With this said, I am only stating that morality has a sort of sense of ambiguity. With which, an Atheist longs to want, such as myself. With my questions, I was brought to Taoism: a way of life more than religion. I want entrust a partnership with this blog. I do not ask for money (I already found the means to provide for myself). However, I do wish for inquiry about the state of being. That is which to say, I want to spend my time in something worthwhile to explore with others. I am not an introvert. My wife is, but I am no( but wish I was). More specifically, I want to explore more of Taoism and what it has to offer. But, with that said, I need the curiosity of others to embark on this spiritual journey. I am willing to do the research about spirituality in conjunction with Atheism, which seems to be an oxymoron statement. I know. Yet, I feel like spirituality, or the deep humanistic connection one feels with the universe, is needed to progress human existence with earth. Basically, my goal is to create a blog that will one day create a support group who will change the world for the better. Cast aside jealous, envy, intellect superiority, and focus on how to bring reconciliation between, what I believe to be, the smarter stronghold of humanity to create actual positive change. I am a busy body, just like everyone else, and do not wish to waste my time. I can easily die living a life that is simplistic like the rest.
I just want people to talk to me.
I feel like this world has separated and estrange one another from each other. I know people from all around the world. I know people in Russia and have heard the conflict that the US is in. I want peace. I also am willing to stick my neck out and have discussions that will slowly but surely bring some sort of small peace to the world, but only through people conversing on a plane that is safe and connective. Love is the blog I want to start because I have yet to met someone opposed to such an idea.
